Jeff Mustard is a true renaissance man. A highly accomplished advertising, marketing, and public relations professional, and the president of his own independent, boutique agency, the New York born and raised advertising veteran is also a prolific writer, Producer, and Director, a former actor - theatre, television, and film - a stand-up comedian, a syndicated radio producer, art collector, art broker, and energetic community and civil rights activist.

In March 2020, Mustard wrote and produced a song and a music video inspired by the George Floyd Murder. That song evolved into extensive social activist activities leading to Mustard’s creation of Equal Justice Studios [EJS], a media entity dedicated to social and equal justice issues. Since the founding of EJS, Mustard has produced a mini-documentary dedicated to Corey Jones, an African American man shot and killed by police in 2015; and the production of an album, “American Carnage,” a seven-track album focusing on Social Injustice issues that have come to dominate American society and culture.

Jeff Mustard’s work has been published nationally in print, radio, television, and the stage. He is the co-author/ghostwriter of a Wall Street Journal Best-Selling Book, A Message from Garcia: Yes, You Can Succeed, published by John Wiley. In addition, he was head writer of The Best of Wine and Food, a television series hosted by George Hamilton, syndicated nationally on the Food Network, and the writer/producer/director of Deerfield Days, an award-winning documentary film. The former president of the South Florida Screenwriters Guild (not WGA-related), Mustard was the Creator/Executive Producer of the Make-A-Film Competition, a successful event for emerging filmmakers produced with Independent Feature Project (IFP)/Miami and IFP/Los Angeles.

Early in his career, he performed as a stand-up comic and appeared in television commercials, an HBO Comedy Special, Richard Jeni: Crazy from the Heat, and two made-for-cable movies, Miami Models and International Tease. Contracted by former Miami Vice co-star, Philip Michael Thomas, Mustard performed in two Edward Albee productions produced by Mr. Thomas at his North Miami Theater.

Alamo Rent-A-Car contracted Mustard to write, produce and direct a stage play for the organization in Las Vegas. Mustard’s radio production company, Hysterical Comedy Services, provided comedy materials — skits, sketches, fake commercials, and song parodies to three of the nation’s largest radio comedy syndicators–Premiere Radio Networks, Pro-Media, and Olympia Radio Networks. Hundreds of radio stations broadcast Mustard’s comedy material to millions of listeners across the country weekly.

Mustard was a guest professor at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Fl, where he designed a curriculum focusing on advertising, marketing, and public relations. His work has earned various awards and recognitions, including a People’s Choice Award, two Gold Addy awards, advertising awards for Healthcare Marketing, and recognition by the City of Deerfield Beach for his one-person photography exhibit. Further, he received The Hampton Dunn Award for Electronic Media from The Florida Historical Society for producing “Deerfield Days,” a one-hour documentary he wrote, produced and directed over six months at Don King Studios in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

With well over one-hundred million dollars in earned national and international media coverage in television, print, and radio for clients, Jeff Mustard has also served as Spokesperson / Communications Director for business people in the private sector and government, including gubernatorial and White House level and a United Nations member.

Since 2015 Mustard has concentrated on writing three television series - two of which are multiple award-winning pilot scripts. Both historical-fiction shows, one is a prestige, Limited Series show set in NYC Lower East Side in 1900, inspired by real-life events of a boycott against the increase in the cost of beef that instigated the first female-led social activist movement changed the country permanently. The second show is an action-packed, pulse-pounding Cold-War Style multi-season series set in Cuba and Miami, circa the 1950s - 1970s, best described as a Cuban Count of Monte Cristo. Mustard is presently seeking a NY or LA-based Literary Agent for representation.
